St. Lawrence College (SLC) is a public college, founded in 1967 with 3 modern campuses in 3 cities including Kingston, Brockville, and Cornwall. All 3 campuses are located along with St. Lawrence river and surrounded by three major cities of Canada containing Toronto, Ottawa, and Montréal, which are convenient for traveling and sightseeing.
Currently, the university has more than 10,000 full-time students, and 88,000 alumni. There are approximately 1,500 international students enrolling in more than 70 programs at SLC such as Business, Applied Arts, Engineering and Computer Technology, Community Services, Medical Sciences, Tourism and Hospitality.
SLC always focuses on improving teaching methods and sees students’ success as a goal to upgrade and develop their training programs better. Therefore, after graduating, students at SLC will be equipped with the necessary skills, as well as a solid foundation of knowledge to be ready for the career future.
St. Lawrence College also offers English programs for international students when they are not eligible to study the mainstream program. In addition, every year SLC organizes a summer English program, starting from early May to the end of August for international students wishing to have a short time to study, experience, and learn more about life in Canada.
