Summer camping in Canada – Guiding you to a bright future!
Canada seems not to be an unfamiliar country to most people around the world. This country in our mind is a picture of an exceptionally beautiful land full of amazing things. Canada impresses people by a romantic white snow scene with mischievous bears playing on, or forests of maple leaves changing color, or the autumn of vermilions carpets stretching across the sky, especially the hot pancakes with delicious maple syrup that immediately can stimulate our taste buds.
However, it is impossible to describe how interesting and amazing Canada really is through a few words. This North American country still contains many other unique features that can make visitors be filled with great surprise and tremendous admiration.
1. Climate
Climate in Canada is diverse among its regions across the country. In densely populated areas, there are four distinct seasons.
- Spring and autumn are transition seasons of the year. During this period, it often becomes cooler or warmer than usual and the rainfall is significantly higher.
- Summer lasts from June to September when the weather is gradually warming up, daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C, even higher. Particularly in southern Ontario and Quebec, the summer’s climate can be very humid
- Canada’s winter is usually very cold and the temperature is mostly below 0°C. Many regions are covered by snow from December to March or April. Only in the southwestern areas of British Columbia (including Victoria and Vancouver), the temperature can be usually above 0°C and there is more rain than snow even in winter.
2. Culture and people
Being controlled by two colonial regimes of France and England in the 17th century, Canada has a cultural mix of those two European countries and native people.
However, this does not affect the most popular manner of Canadian people, that is politeness. In conferences or meetings, it is very common for business people to shake hands while keeping eye contact with each other, which is the way they express their respect toward their partners.
In addition, intimate contact or calling other people by their first names should be avoided for distant relationships. Also, while American people tend not to take their shoes off when entering the houses, you have to remember to remove and leave them outside if being invited to a Canadian’s home. Canada values respect and equality, so it is necessary to keep polite in community activities.
3. Health and education
In terms of health, Canada is known to be a country with the highest life expectancy and the lowest infant mortality rate in the world, which demonstrates its superiority of the health care system.
In terms of education, the Government of Canada has invested heavily in the education system. According to the statistics estimated by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Canada is one of the top educational countries in the world and belongs to the top three countries with the highest investment per capita for post-secondary education.
These core factors have helped Canada become one of the most ideal destinations for laying the foundation to build and develop your career, which makes this country has chosen by many international students from other countries to come for dream fulfilling.
