Toronto’s Mayor John Tory attends the inauguration of Toronto Film School new campus
Toronto Film School ( TFS ) officially announced the grand opening of its magnificent and enormous campus which is 17,387 m2 at 460 Yonge Street, Canada. Lied in the center of the biggest city of Canada, this is the 4th piece of the downtown TFS empire.
With an immense space, the new campus of TFS provides a high utility use and convenience for specified programs especially gaming courses. There are four lecture classrooms, a resting room for teachers and students, 5 studios and a lot of customized rooms.
The ribbon cutting ceremony took place with special attendance of Toronto Mayor – John Tory, representatives from local film studios, reporters, and a lot of influencers.
Mayor Tory spent a lot of time touring the new campus as well as its modern facilities. He was especially impressed by the Hall of Fame where masterpieces made by former students are exhibited. The mayor also commended TFS ‘important role in training and providing over 30,000 talents annually, continually boosting Toronto’s $2 billion film industry. He hoped that TFS could continue to strengthen Toronto’s status and position to be the best destination in North America in tv and movie production.
On the other hand, TFS’s principal Dr. Rick Davey gave special thanks to the enthusiastic assistance from the provincial government which engendered the school’s marvelous successes.
In his speech, he emphasized the school’s commitment and responsibility that contribute to provide a creative, friendly and collaborative study environment.
TFS are looking forward to:
